It was a warm and beautiful June 2023 morning when I photographed this Canadian North 737 on the Yellowknife ramp.

C-FHBO is a 737-700 which flew for WestJet between 2005 and 2021.
Using the stairs enhanced the experience of getting on an airplane - you see the jet, hear the ambient sounds, smell the Jet A and felt like you were a part of the process instead of filing through a sterile tube from a room into a cabin.

This particular aircraft first flew from the Filton production site in 1953 and was delivered to Trans Canada Airlines. Wardair acquired the Bristol in 1955.

Collin Crosby informed me that MSN. 525 was registered by Air Tindi as C-GATU in 1994. It was deregistered in Canada for a lease to an Indonesian company in 2003. When the lease was finished, it came back to Air Tindi and was re-registered in Canada as C-FATW in 2008.
This very old workhorse started her flying career with Pakistan Intl. Airways – PIA in November 1970.
