A couple of hours at Calgary International
June 2023
On the first of June, 2023, KL0677 PH-BQI left for Calgary with me onboard.
C-FJJA is the 1st prototype of the DHC-8-400.
This Bristow S-76C N890BG was sold to Eagle Copters as C-GUKT, but is still wearing her old Bristow uniform.
Originally delivered to the USAAF in during the war, this DC-3 passed through a succession of owners before bought and rebuild by Basler. As a BT-67 she was sold to Kenn Borek in November 2022 and registered C-GGSU.
Morningstar Air Express (on behalf FedEx) Boeing 757-200F C-FMOC is seen arriving at Morningstar Air facility at Calgary for an A-check.
Canadian North Boeing 737-300 C-GCNO is painted in Canadian Football League special colors since 2014.

Amazon Prime Air Boeing 767-300F stared her career with Qantas in August 1994.
Saw this beauty weathering away at Calgary Airport, Alberta.
This anonymous 737-200, is a Cabin Trainer owned and operated by Art Smith Aero Center. In fact she is a former Southwest and Westjet ship and was registered C-GWJU during her time with Westjet.
A couple of Twin Otters in a sad state at Calgary, relegated to providing spares.

In the center photo is MSN. 094 of Regent Aircraft. She has registration C-GQKN and is still wearing her basic Harbour Air colors.
N241SA is/was a Twin Otter owned and operated by Grand Canyon Scenic.

- DU-SD4 is still in Skydive Dubai colors. This Twin Otter crashed in 2015.
- C-GQKN of Aircraft Services is seen here still in basic white/yellow/blue Harbour Air colors.
- N73WD is a former Flanagan Enterprises (Nevada) ship and still in her white/red/black colors.
- N181CS is an ex Rampart Aviation ship, which had crashed in 2015.
The last operator of C-FWLK was Canadian Regional 1.
We see the following airframes on the line: Regional DHC-8-300 1C-FWLK, AvioAndes, Ecuador DHC-8-200 N454YV and TUM AeroCarga Mitsubishi CRJ-200LR XA-MCQ.
C-FWJB & C-FVMD are both CRJ-100ER’s who were working for Jazz and Air Canada.
N798CA CRJ-100 is a former Delta Express ship.
C-FVMD is stored at Calgary since 2012.
All parts machines.
Yet the salvaged parts are still breathing life into operational aircraft.
